Johnson Sports Training Facility

The Johnson Sports training facility is a fully equipped athlete training facility.  It is equipped and designed to meet the requirements of the large variety of athletes involved in our training programs.  This variety includes meeting the needs of athletes of all ages as well as physical development levels.  The facility allows for the novice and elite athlete to achieve the goals that we have set for them.  The facility design allows for sophisticated as well as beginner sports-specific training techniques to be instructed such as speed training, plyometrics and power training, olympic lifting, strength training, core training and flexibility training.  The facility includes a 2000 square foot indoor training area as well as 75 yard long outdoor training area utilized for various training protocol including speed and agility training.  Indoor area is also designed  with open areas allowing for implementation of speed and agility training techniques as well as a wide array of sports specific training techniques.  High speed treadmills allow for top speed training and speed technique training indoors as well.

Fields

Johnson Sports has access to several local outdoor fields in within 1 to 3 miles from the training facility.  Our primary field consists of 2-100 yard athletic fields.  These fields are utilized for speed, agility and sports-specific movement training.  Some specific training techniques implemented at these fields include overspeed training, resisted running, speed development, speed endurance as well as ladder, 20 yard shuttle and cone drills.
